Summer Semester 2018

Interactive Initiative launches a curriculum of art and technology workshops this summer, open to artists and the public in the heart of downtown Hollywood, FL. 

The series brings college-level instruction to teens, artists and community members, teaching fundamental building blocks for incorporating art and technology into practice. Workshops are appropriate for beginners and intermediate-level participants, and build upon each class, enabling complex integrations of technology, 3D concepts and inter-activity into creative projects. 

Workshops are led by Samuel Lopez de Victoria and open to artists as well as community members interested in learning tech skills and programs that are fundamental building blocks for work in the arts, technology and new media industries that are proliferating the job marketplace right now. 

Workshops take place in Downtown Hollywood, FL on Saturday afternoons, full schedule below, and are available individually as well as per semester, with a generous discount.

About Samuel Lopez de Victoria
Samuel Lopez de Victoria is an artist, game developers and instructor living and working in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He has a Masters in Art and Technology, University of FL, Gainesville, FL and Bachelors in Art and Technology, New World School of Art College, Miami FL.

Samuel currently teaches digital art at the New World School of the Arts College. Samuel created Interactive Initiative to focus on providing education and mentorship programs directed toward digital art and video game design within underserved neighborhoods and communities.
